"How does a grocery store serving some of St. Louis' most vulnerable residents safely fulfill its mission during a pandemic?"
City Greens Market is a 501c3 nonprofit providing residents in St. Louis' Forest Park Southeast neighborhood with fresh, quality and affordable produce.
Denver Crowd was proud to offer digital solutions to problems presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This Duda website provides a complete grocery shopping experience allowing customers to browse by category, or simply search for their item by name. Market Members are able to use their unique Member ID to access special deals and pricing. Checkout is secure + seamless and allows for order pickup scheduling with limited time slots to minimize contact among workers, volunteers and customers.
"How can a restaurant simplify its order and pickup process while minimizing contact among customers?"
Jasmine Syrian Food is a immigrant- and family-owned restaurant in Aurora, CO's Mango House. When COVID-19 shut down restaurants nationwide for indoor dining, Jasmine Syrian Food was one of the thousands of restaurants to be affected.
Denver Crowd quickly went to work to build Jasmine Syrian Food a mobile-friendly, responsive eCommerce Duda site to get Jasmine's business back on track.
Their new website incorporates online ordering, scheduling, local sales tax calculations, gratuity and more in a simple, contact-free online dashboard.
"How can we leverage our warehouse of 15,000+ products to broaden our broaden our customer base?"
When Denver Crowd approached Sports Obsession about a new eCommerce website in early 2020, they already had an eCommerce website.
But it was not making sales; they received less than $1,000 in annual eCommerce sales, vastly underperforming their brick-and-mortar stores in comparison.
Though their brick-and-mortar store was located on the east coast, their product warehouse contained thousands of products from every US sports league, team and athlete.
In early 2020, as the pandemic set in, we worked with Sports Obsession to build a new eCommerce Duda website that could attract visitors from all across the country. Denver Crowd built it up, imported 15,000+ products, optimized for SEO and for mobile devices, and launched.
By June we were fully live with a website, plus social media and digital marketing plans to boot.
As our team dialed in our marketing advertising efforts, revenue soared from only $1,000/year to over $1,000/day. Their customer base went from local shoppers at four east coast malls, to thousands of customers all over the country, in states like California and Texas.
"How can we broaden a brick-and-mortar store's audience and attract a new group of customers?"
Proud Souls is known locally for its incredible selection of BBQ grills, smokers, meats & accessories in Denver and Littleton, Colorado. Though Proud Souls are champion BBQ pitmasters, their website wasn't winning any awards.
We were able to build Proud Souls Barbecue & Provisions a new website that accomplished all their goals:
•Broaden customer base from hyper-local to regional
•Paid BBQ Class Signups (powered by Acuity Scheduling)
•eCommerce integration featuring top brands of grills and smokers (powered by Ecwid)
•Options for local and regional pickup, delivery, assembly and more
The eCommerce Duda website and a regional Google AdWords and Google Free Listings campaigns has allowed Proud Souls to increase their radius of business and find new customers.
In just a few short weeks we were able to raise sales and revenue beyond Proud Souls' initial goals and expectations.
"How do we engaged traditionally underrepresented and marginalized community members?"
Boulder, Colorado ranks No. 1 in the nation for Quality of Life. It's no surprise with their 300+ sunny days, access to nature and recreation and amazing places to work and play.
To Denver Crowd, "Quality of Life" means more than cool jobs and pretty views; quality of life means living somewhere collaborative, forward-thinking and innovative.
Working for the City of Boulder, we collaborated with Walker Consultants to build a digital engagement hub on Duda that allows Boulder community members to take an active role in the transportation planning process.
As opposed to long-established community engagement methods which favor those with traditional 9-to-5 employment, our Digital Hub allows for community members to get involved on their own time and schedule. Visitors are able to select a feedback method in correspondence with the amount of time they can commit to the project.
Denver Crowd integrated digital polls, discussion boards, questionnaires and more to collect a plethora of qualitative and quantitative information from the community.
The site included language translations for non-native constituents and accessibility tools for users with different ability levels.
"How can we simplify the volunteer application process?"
When we started working with VOC, their website had 75+ navigation links. This led to a bulky, cumbersome user experience with low conversion rates.
Denver Crowd was able to completely reorganize the site's content and flow on Duda to provide an online experience that is smooth, welcoming, and fulfills VOC's mission of encouraging stewardship of Colorado's natural resources.
Working with volunteer project management application CiviCore, we developed a custom project search app for volunteers to find the perfect way to give back.
