Helping Grandma with her Senior Singles Signups

Our Crowd helped a team members' Grandma with simplifying her Senior Singles Club signup process.

We all love our Grandmas, right? And would do anything to help them, right? When our Crowd had the chance to help a team member's Grandma with her Senior Singles Club, we jumped at the opportunity.

A couple of weeks ago, one of our team members' grandma opened up about her anxiety surrounding a volunteer position, and her difficulties surrounding her role.

Grandma's position is as coordinator of her Senior Singles Club, where she organizes monthly matched dinners. Her struggle was that there was so much information to collect, parse and organize to set up dinners for these single seniors looking to mingle.

When we heard the ins and outs of the signup process, we knew we could help by creating a more streamlined digital solution for her.

Even though the past volunteer filling Grandma's role resigned due to the anxiety and stress surrounding collecting and using this data, we were determined to help make this year's Seniors Singles Club dinners a resounding success.

Our Crowd worked with Grandma to set up a digital form and connected spreadsheet that automatically collects and parses signup data.

Our simple form not only helped better organize signups, but also was simple and streamlined enough for our target audience of singles over 70 years of age to use with ease.

The Senior Singles Signup form we created helped to collect and manage information, making Grandma's job easier and more stress-free.  Our connected spreadsheet collected signups in an organized them in a simple and effective way for singles matchmaking.

Once the submission period was complete, we were able to curate and organize spreadsheets that were easy to view, modify and print (our Grandma's favorite).

Not only was this web form signup a better experience for the Senior Singles Club, it allowed Grandma to excel in her volunteer role, stress-free!

Every day our Crowd works diligently with clients to better tell their stories and improve client experiences. We love getting to take a step back from our everyday hustle and bustle to help make a family members' life more enjoyable and stress-free with the tools at our disposal.

If you could use some help simplifying signup processes at work (or for your Grandma), let's chat!

Search engine optimization is often misunderstood. Many businesses assume that adding a few keywords to their homepage or publishing an occasional blog post is enough to improve rankings. When traffic does not increase, they conclude that SEO simply does not work for their industry. In reality, most SEO challenges stem from structural issues, inconsistent strategy, or incomplete implementation rather than a lack of opportunity. If your SEO efforts are not producing results, the solution is rarely more content alone. It starts with addressing the foundation.

When businesses think about redesigning their website, the first word that usually comes to mind is “refresh.” New colors. Updated fonts. Modern layout. But a high-performing website redesign is not about aesthetics. It is about performance. A strong website should generate leads, drive sales, improve search visibility, simplify content management, and clearly communicate your brand. If it only looks better but does not function better, it is not a redesign. It is decoration.

You’re getting traffic. People are clicking your ads. They’re finding you on Google. They’re even browsing your pages. But the leads? The calls? The form submissions? Crickets. If your website isn’t converting, the problem usually isn’t traffic. It’s what happens after someone lands on your site. Here’s where to start.

If your website looks good but isn’t bringing in leads, you are not alone. This is one of the most common frustrations we hear from business owners. The site isn’t “bad.” It loads, it functions, and it might even get traffic. But it still feels like it’s underperforming. The truth is, your website probably isn’t broken. It just isn’t working hard enough. A strong website does more than exist online. It guides visitors, tells a clear story, builds trust, and motivates action. When one of those pieces is missing, results stall.

If your website feels outdated, you are probably not imagining it. Design standards, user expectations, and search engine requirements evolve quickly, and what worked even a few years ago may now be holding your business back. Your website is often the first impression customers have of your brand. When it feels slow, cluttered, or difficult to use, visitors notice and often leave before taking action. Below are some of the most common reasons websites start to feel outdated, and what modern websites do differently.
