eCommerce Website Design for a Winter Sports Industry Leader
Hovland Snowskates is the global leader in bi-level and flatdeck snowskates for resorts, powder, park and street.
Hovland Snowskates designs and produces bi-level snowskates, which are a skateboard-snowboard hybrid designed for riding on big mountains.
We worked with Hovland to build an eCommerce website to make product sales and tell the story of their brand, products and riders.
CHALLENGE
For a successful snow sports brand, a website is more than just an eCommerce store. Hovland's website also needed to provide a place to educate new riders, engage with their community and show off new tricks.
Hovland Snowskates wanted to improve the look and feel of their website while staying true to the grassroots and underground feel of their brand.
OPPORTUNITY
Our Crowd collaborated with Hovland Snowskates to build a Duda eCommerce Website to showcase & sell products, engage riders, and provide resources for new skaters looking to get started.
We designed and produced a Snowskate Buyers' Guide to help new and experienced skaters choose their next ride based on experience, skating style, terrain and more.
In addition to an eCommerce store, we built out a collection of pages designed to build brand affinity.

RESULTS
Since launch, Hovland Snowskates' Website has received hundreds of thousands of website visitors from all across the globe. We launched a Japan version of the website, complete with full translation provided by our Japanese language partners.
The site has helped attract thousands of snowskate orders and over one thousand contact inquiries.
Our Snowskate Buyers Guide has helped new and experienced skateboarders alike select the perfect board for their needs.
