COVID-19 has created a lot of new digital problems to solve; one key question for municipalities has been "how do we engage with our constituents + get meaningful feedback during a pandemic?"

COVID-19 made in-person public engagement hearing unattainable for the City of Boulder. Since constituents will have varying interest levels, we wanted to develop a platform that would allow anyone to participate, regardless of any time limitations.
Boulder also has a significant Spanish-speaking population. Engagement and feedback from this population is crucial; similarly, it is often overlooked. This projects must be engaging to constituents from any linguistic background.
In response, our team built a digital public engagement forum designed to inform and engage with Boulder's community members.
