"How does a grocery store serving some of St. Louis' most vulnerable residents safely fulfill its mission during a pandemic?"
That is the question Denver Crowd addressed as we worked with City Greens Market, a 501c3 nonprofit in St. Louis' Forest Park Southeast neighborhood.
City Greens Market was using a Google Form to fulfill its grocery orders. Not only was it cumbersome for customers, it was difficult for employees to manage, and there was absolutely no inventory tracking.
In addition, the lack of scheduling capabilities resulted in some of St. Louis' most vulnerable residents being forced to enter a grocery store during crowded opening hours.
City Greens offers different markups depending on membership status; any eCommerce solution would also need to account for the difference in pricing among members and non-members.
Our solution was a custom-built website that seamlessly integrates digital grocery shopping. In addition to a visually-appealing shopping experience, we built out a grocery pickup scheduler to minimize contact and maximize efficiency.
Inventory management was seamlessly integrated into the online store via Ecwid.
