ACCESSIBLE WEBSITE FOR BLIND SKATEBOARDING NONPROFIT

Fully-Accessible Website for Blind Skateboarding Nonprofit

Keep Pushing Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the traditions of skateboarding with the differently-abled community.

When was the last time you considered how people with visual impairments access your website?

As we worked with Keep Pushing Inc., accessibility was at the top of our minds. Keep Pushing Inc. was founded by Dan Mancina, a professional skateboarder who lost his vision to a degenerative eye disease by the age of 22.

CHALLENGE

When skaters visit Keep Pushing Inc.'s website, they need a clear and compelling story no matter how they consume the information on the page.

OPPORTUNITY

Our Crowd collaborated with Dan and Keep Pushing Inc. to build a Duda website that tells the story of their Adaptive Skateboarding Nonprofit, fundraises for their Park Project, and most importantly, is accessible to everyone who visits.

RESULTS

We worked with Dan and the top accessibility tools + screen readers to build a website that performs no matter who is using the website. Visitors can contribute to Dan's Accessible Skatepark Fundraiser, find resources for blind and visually-impaired athletes, and get in touch with the organization to get involved with the nonprofit.

Dan Mancina has inspired skateboarders and differently-abled people across the world with his tenacity has he takes on skateboarding from a whole new approach.
